From the department of Operations Management a corporate session was held on 25^th July 2016 for the students of Revenue Management and Risk Management. To enhance the knowledge base and enrich their current foundation, the head of Supply Chain Management of Novartis (Bangladesh) ltd Mr. Reaz Ameen Choudhury gave a presentation to the students. The Corporate session was arranged by Sadia Rahman & Dr. Tamanna Islam, Assistant Professor, Department of Operations Management, Faculty of Business Administration. The main objective of this corporate presentation was to share with OM Major students that Operations Management sector can be a viable option to build their future career in the corporate world of Bangladesh. He encouraged the students to relate their theoretical understanding of the subjects studied in AIUB with the contemporary real world practice in the Industry. A lot of exciting challenge is waiting for those deserving candidates and once a student gain some experience and understand the market their career progression is quite rapid and salary is more competitive than other sectors.

The Corporate session was coordinated by Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Associate Professor & Director, MBA program. He presented the letter of appreciation to Mr. Reaz Ameen Choudhury which was signed by Dr. Nisar Ahmed Head, Department of Operations Management and Prof. Dr. Charles Carillo Villanueva, Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean, FBA.
