On 8^th of August 2017 Department of Management & HRM organized an interactive lecture session for the Occupational Health & Safety management course. The resource person Mr. Md. Rubayet Faisal; Chairman; Genuine Technology & Research Ltd. (GTR) lectured upon the “Imperative of Safety Equipment Installation in Organizations”. Mr. Rubayet is a competent entrepreneur who have 12 years of experience in in business development consultancy, industrial system, and IT solution. Under his effective management now the company is a market leader in offering fire safety solutions and organizational security equipment & systems. He was accompanied by Mr. Tanvir Hamid; Business Development Executive of GTR.

In his interesting discussion, he mentioned the necessity for safety in health, occupation, food, information and every other important factor for life safety. In his lecture, he also elaborated the ideas of safety and health issues which are widely discussed in modern times. He provided students with the information of application and necessities of different safety equipment and systems, their utilities. He also enlightened the students by sharing his experiences with the major clients such as Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser etc. during service providing. The discussion ended with question answer session with the students. At the end of his lecture, Professor Dr. Charles C. Villanueva; Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor & Dean (FBA), Ms. Farheen Hassan; Associate Professor & Head; Department of Management & HRM handed over a Certificate of Appreciation to the Guest Speaker and his associate.
