Grooming Session on Brand Management with Mr. Bharat Bambawale

The Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has organized a ‘Grooming Session on Brand Management’ facilitated by AIUB Business Club on October 12, 2011 in Campus 1 Auditorium. The resource speaker is Mr. Bambawale Bharat, the Global Brand Director of Bharti Airtel. Before He joined the Bharti Airtel, He worked as the global team leader for Unilever’s hair care portfolio at JWT. During the session, Mr. Bharat talked about his global experience in Brands and also described the ten (10) points of Brand building from his perspective and experience. He also mentioned how marketing can influence the customers’ mind and how it runs the wheel of the business. The discussion was followed by a very effective and participative Q&A session.     Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Dean, BBA Program, AIUB delivered the welcome address and a brief introductory speech. Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Director, BBA Program delivered ‘vote of thanks’ to the chief guest and the participants.  Feedback from the students revealed that the session was productive and informative. It has widened their horizon and appreciation on the importance of Branding Marketing.
