At the start of the Fall Semester 2019-2020, a general meeting was organized by the AIUB Management on Tuesday, 17 September 2019 in AIUB’s Auditorium to convey the message of challenges and concerns to the academics and non-academics in attendance.  To address these challenges and concerns, with the assistance of Mr. Manzur Khan, Director, OSA, Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna, the Vice Chancellor outlined and briefed specific policies to deal with, for guidance and adherence.  The Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Tafazzal Hossain and Deans of the four Faculties, Prof. Dr. Charles Villanueva (also VP, Academic), Prof. Dr. Siddique Hossain and Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam also shared their individual insights and reminders to the participants with keen optimism that any challenge can be hurdled so that the Fall Semester 2019-2020 will be fruitful and successful one.  The Chairman of the Board, Ms. Nadia Anwar was also present to convey her warm greetings and message of inspiration to all.

To further elaborate and illustrate the aforementioned challenges and concerns, the Founder, Treasurer and Vice President Administration and HR, Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan cited some instances and cases which may cause concerns for the university. He enjoined everybody to be more professional and careful in dealing with the peers and particularly with the students so that AIUB can create and uphold its image. He also mentioned some efforts are being exerted by the management to hasten the problem on the entrance road to the university, shortage of electricity and other development projects. The general meeting ended with a positive note of utmost dedication, commitment, loyalty and upholding the interest of the university so that it can carry out its inherent mandate successfully.
