A general meeting was held at the AIUB Auditorium on Thursday, 7 February 2020 at the beginning of the Spring Semester 2019-20. Academic and Non-Academic staff members of the AIUB family were present in the meeting where the messages of success, challenges and concerns were conveyed by the AIUB Management. Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna, the Vice Chancellor reminded the audience of various policies of the university and addressed some of the issues as experienced in the previous semester. The Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Tafazzal Hossain and Dean, Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Siddique Hossain and Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam also shared their individual insights and reminders to the participants with keen optimism. Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan, Founder and Member, AIUB Board of Trustees congratulated everyone for a successful semester and cited some instances which may cause concerns for the university. He enjoined everybody to be more professional and careful in dealing with the peers and particularly with the students so that AIUB can create and uphold its image. The general meeting ended with a positive note of utmost dedication, commitment and upholding the interest of the university so that it can carry out its inherent mandate successfully. Later, everyone enjoyed a delicious pitha utsab and barbecue party befitting the weather.
