Garments Factory Visit by AIUB MPH Students

On February 16, 2011 the students of MPH, AIUB visited a knit composite factory called Delta Group Factory in Konabari, Gazipur. The visit was headed by Dr. Nazrul and coordinated by Dr. Aaru, MPH Program Officer. The factory has a capacity of producing 12 lakh pieces per month and their customers include all European countries. Students observed the Operation Process, Health & Safety Measures, Waste Disposal and Water Treatment plant of the factory. The trip was very effective for the MPH student with real life experience and observation.
