Freshmen Orientation for Spring 2009-10 Semester

The Orientation Program of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) for about 650 newly admitted students in Undergraduate and Graduate programs for the Spring Semester 2009-2010 was held on January 14 & 16, 2010 at the AIUB Auditorium. The students and their guardians were informed about the Academic procedures, rules and regulations including registration, examination systems and other academic policies. The Founder Chairman Dr. Anwarul Abedin and the Vice Chancellor Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna welcomed the freshmen students. Pro-vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Vice President (Academic) Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. A. B. M. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam  and Registrar, Prof. M. A. Quaiyum also spoke on this occasion. After the core sessions of the Orientation Programs the Question and Answer session was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna who replied to the various queries raised by the students and guardians. On behalf of the Office of Student Affairs, Mr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, MBA Program Director, Ms. Jumanah Shireen Khan, Coordinator, EEE, Mr. Ziarat Hossain Khan, Coordinator, Office of Research and Publication and Mr. Manzur H Khan, Coordinator, Office of Student Affairs conducted the orientation presentation.
