Fresher’s Programming Contest Spring 2013-2014

With an aim to encourage students for programming “Fresher’s Programming Contest Spring 2013-2014” was held on 13th February, 2014 in Campus 4, AIUB. This half-day long program was successfully organized by the AIUB Computer Club (ACC). The participants were freshmen students of PL1(C), PL 2(C++) course. The enthusiasm among the students as well as the faculty members was awesome. The objective of this contest was to ignite and nourish the logical domain and inculcate competitive attitude among the students which in turn is going to prepare them for the real world. The prize giving ceremony was held on the same day that evening in the AIUB auditorium. The auditorium was full with verdant glow. Enthusiast CS freshmen gathered to find out the result of the Programming Contest. First judges explained the solutions to the problems to the eager contestants. Mr. Mashiour Rahman Director of FSIT and Dr. Khandaker Tabin Hasan Head [Graduate program], CS provided a motivational Speech to the fledgling CS fresher. Following them were Dr. Dip Nandi, Head [Undergraduate Program] CS and Mohammad Saiedur Rahaman, Assistant Professor & Special Assistant, providing an encouraging speech to the audience. The top ten performers were awarded crest as the token of achievement.
