On Saturday, May 24, 2025, American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) proudly hosted the Award Giving Ceremony of the first-ever Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Bangladesh Championship, organized by vTutor. This landmark event celebrated youth achievement and digital skill development nationwide.
The program opened with a warm welcome from Kazi Shamim, Co-Founder & Chief Learning Officer of vTutor. He reflected on vTutor’s three-year journey, shared highlights from the competition, and proudly announced that 90% of participants earned Microsoft certification. Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB, was present at the award ceremony and was honored with a crest for his valuable presence. In his speech, he commended this inaugural initiative and appreciated its role in empowering students through skill-building opportunities.
The Keynote Speaker, Mohammad Mahmuduzzaman, Joint Editor of Jay Jay Din, gave an inspiring address, drawing from history and innovation to emphasize youth potential and the spirit of giving back.
Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, Vice Chancellor of BUP, also encouraged students to embrace challenges, noting that the competition fostered creativity and leadership, not just technical skills.
Winners of both University and National Rounds were recognized, with medals, crests, and symbolic checks awarded in the Excel, Word, and PowerPoint categories. Chief Guest Kazi Moshtaque Zahir, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Youth, handed out the awards and praised the initiative’s contribution to youth empowerment.
The event concluded with a group photo and a closing speech by MD Faruk Hossain, Co-Founder & Chief Academic Officer of vTutor. He urged the winners to lead by example as they prepare for the international round in the USA, assuring continued support from vTutor.
The vTutor MOS Bangladesh Championship 2025 was not only a celebration of achievement but also a call to action — empowering Bangladesh’s youth to lead with skills, vision, and ambition.
