FBA Organizes online research training session entitled “Blockchain in the food supply chain

Do you know where your food has been?” by Dr. Daniel Bumblauskas, Associate Professor, University of Northern Iowa, IA., U.S.A.

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), AIUB has organized an Online Research Training Session in response to the call of the Honorable Vice Chancellor of American International University-Bangladesh, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna named as ‘Socially Distanced; Intellectually Engaged’. The resource speaker was Dan P. Bumblauskas, Ph.D, Associate Professor and Jeff & Julie Hamilton/ESP International Fellow for Supply Chain and Logistics Management, University of Northern Iowa, IA, USA. The session was entitled “Blockchain in the food supply chain: do you know where your food has been?”- on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 9:30 am. The session was participated by faculty members of FBA and also joined by the Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Vice President (Academics), and Dean, FBA, and Prof. Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Director, MBA Program, who shared their Vote of Encouragement to the resource speaker, participants and the organizers of the session. The session was coordinated and hosted by Mr. Mohammad Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM). This faculty development program is conceptualized and structured by Dr. Rezbin Nahar, Associate Professor, and Ms. Anisa Sultana, Senior Assistant Professor from the Department of Management and HRM, FBA. The technical support is provided by Mr. Mehzabul Hoque Nahid, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Information System (MIS), FBA, AIUB.
