FBA Freshers' Day Spring 2025-26

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized a lively Freshers’ Day on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, to welcome the BBA freshmen of the Spring 2025-2026 Semester. The event was held at the AIUB Multi-purpose Hall in Annex 7 and was attended by the Advisor and Dean in Charge, FBA, Directors, department heads, faculty members of FBA, and enthusiastic new students.

The program began with a welcome and motivational speech by Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Advisor and Dean in Charge, FBA. On behalf of existing students, Ms. Shafia Ibnat Khan, a marketing major student of BBA program hosted the program. She also presented a session entitled “Brief Introduction of the FBA (Departments and Heads)”.

The event transitioned to an engaging cultural segment featuring captivating performances by current students. The cultural activities started with recitation of a poem “Bashi” of Rabindranath Thakur by Ms. Naznin Akter. Ms. Ananna Podder, Ms. Nowrin Akhter Tuba, MS. Puza Rani Shill, Ms. Sumaiya Jahan Alo, Ms. Samiya Hossain, Ms. Tawseen Rahman Prome, Ms. Tasnim Binte Taher, Ms. Zannatul Mawa Rohoshi, Ms. Subaita Fairooz, Ms. Nowshin Jahan Ome, Ms. Jannatul Ferdous, and Ms. Somaiya Sarker Mithila exhibited dance performance on different types of Bengali songs.

Ms. Nihonta Mostafa Ansari, Ms. Shrestha Roy, Ms. Arpita Rani Biswas, Ms. Sharah Mehjabin Anchal, and Ms. Kaberi Khan Pritha, captivated the audience with their solo performances on modern Bengali song, Nazrul Geeti, Rabindra Sangeet, Bengali modern song and Bengali Folk songs. Whereas Mr. Ahtesha Nul Hye captivated the audience with their solo performances on Bengali hard rock song. The AIUB Performing Arts Club (APAC) provided the instrumental support to make the event successful. Ms. Rodshi, Fazilatun Nesa played the role of volunteer in order to welcome the fresh students and guide them to run the event smoothly.  

The event was planned and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Partha P. Chowdhury, Chartered Marketer (UK), Director in Charge, BBA Program. The Faculty of Business Administration is especially thankful to the Management, Administration, and Office of Student Affairs (OSA) for their support in arranging the event
