The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), AIUB, organized an interactive session entitled “Meet n’ Greet - the FBA Family" for the FBA Freshman Students of the Summer 2022-2023 Semester on Wednesday, June 08, 2023, held at the AIUB Multi-purpose Hall, Annex 7. The program was attended by the Freshman students, Faculty Members, Department Heads, and the Program Directors (Undergraduate and Graduate Programs) of FBA. The program's objective was to welcome and have an information-sharing session for the FBA Freshman Students of this ongoing semester.

The session commenced with an opening speech by Dr. Rezbin Nahar, Associate Professor, and Director, BBA Program, who welcomed the students to the Faculty of Business Administration, and AIUB. She also motivated the Freshman students to excel in their tenure of studies and adore the serenity of the beautiful AIUB campus. The program's EMCEE, Ms. Shahnaz Zarin Haque, Assistant Professor, FBA, further carried out the session by giving a synopsis of the entire session. After the introductory discussion, Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Director of the Graduate Programs, briefly explained the various FBA degree programs and other academic rules & policies. Dance performances by the students of the BBA Freshman Sections then followed the session. The session continued with discussion of the different student-based activities by Mr. Md. Mehzabul Hoque Nahid, Assistant Professor and Head, Dept. of MIS and Business Analytics, FBA.

The session then concluded with an interactive quiz contest conducted by Mr. Stanley Rodrick and Mr. Hamidul Islam, Senior Assistant Professors, Department of Marketing, FBA, and the lucky winners were presented with some token gifts on behalf of AIUB. The session ended with some musical performances by the AIUB Performing Arts Club (APAC) members, in which the students enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the overall arrangements.

The program was coordinated and facilitated by Mr. Stanley Rodrick, Mr. Hamidul Islam, Senior Assistant Professors, Dept. of Marketing, and Dr. Mohammad Ali, Senior Assistant Professor, Dept. of Management and HRM, FBA, in association with the FBA Dean’s Office under the direct guidance and supervision of Prof. Dr. Farheen Hassan, Associate Dean, FBA, AIUB. The Faculty of Business Administration would also like to thank the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), AIUB, and AIUB Administration for providing administrative and logistical support in arranging and concluding this event.
