Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) awarded its most promising students for securing place in Dean’s List on December 3, 2018. 15 students from the Department of English, Media and Mass Communication, Economics and Law received certificates for their extraordinary achievement in academic performance on the occasion.

Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean of FASS, encouraged the awardees to continue with their sincere endeavor in curricular and co-curricular activities. He motivated the students to make the best use of the AIUB’s resources and prepare themselves for the future challenges. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Vice-President of Academics, underscored the importance of developing soft skills in his brief address. Dr Taslima Mansoor, Advisor, Department of Law, urged the awardees to not get complacent with their success and work harder to make themselves more resourceful.

Faculty members from different departments attended the program to celebrate their students’ success. Ms. Afroza Sultana, Assistant Professor, Department of Media and Mass Communication, anchored the entire program.
