In consonance with the thrust of AIUB to share its resources and expertise to the colleges in Dhaka through its outreach program, last Thursday, 18 October 2018, St. Francis Xavier Girls School and College was the recipient and host of the program.  The program was spearheaded by  Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Vice President, Academics and Dean, FBA together with Mr. Stanley Rodrick, Assistant Professor and coordinator of the program, Ms. Tahsina Khan, Assistant Professor, Marketing Department, FBA, Dr. ABM Ramatullah, Head, Department of Economics, Ms. Shaila Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Mr. Theotineous Gomes, Assistant Professor, Department of English and Mr. Nelson Udaundo, Animation Expert, MMC Department conducted two separate activities in the college. One with the senior students on  quiz competitions and demonstration on animation while the teachers attended the seminar-workshop on Pedagogy, Teaching as an Art conducted by Dr. Charles. After two hours of interaction with the students and teachers, the Sister Principal expressed her sincere  thanks and appreciation on behalf of the college on the intervention that AIUB has shared with the students and teachers. It was indeed a good opportunity for the teachers to learn more on Pedagogy as an important dimension of teaching while the students have appreciated the activities and know more about AIUB, its magnificent structure and the academic program offerings. We look forward to the time when these students under the guidance of their teachers that they will trust AIUB to hone their future career in any of the different programs of AIUB.
