The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) hosted a graceful Farewell Ceremony for the Graduating Students of Fall 2025-26 on Thursday, February 25, 2026, at the Media Studio, Annex 2. The event honored the accomplishments of students who successfully completed their BBA and MBA Internship Defenses, symbolizing the conclusion of a defining chapter in their academic journey.
The proceedings commenced with welcoming remarks from Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Advisor and Dean-in-Charge, Faculty of Business Administration. He shared the importance of upholding one’s values amidst professional challenges. This was followed by an inspiring message from Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB, who reflected on the graduates’ learning journey and encouraged them to remain inquisitive, adaptable, and committed to lifelong growth in a rapidly evolving world. The Chief Guest of the event, Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, delivered an insightful keynote speech, urging the graduating class to lead with integrity, passion, and a sense of purpose as they enter the next phase of their lives.
Mr. R. Tareque Moudud, Director, Office of Placement and Alumni (OPA). In his address, he lauded the graduates for their perseverance, discipline, and hard work, while extending his best wishes for continued success in their future endeavors. In continuation of FBA’s initiative to celebrate distinguished alumni each semester, the ceremony featured two accomplished professionals:
- Ms. Ismat Jahan, Chief People Officer (CPO) APX Group (Apex DMIT Limited, Kazi Resort, Apex Property).
- Mr. Hamidul Islam Hamid, Associate Professor, Department of Marketing, FBA.
Both alumni delivered inspiring reflections drawn from their personal and professional experiences. Their words bridged academic insight with real-world application, providing the graduates with valuable direction as they step into their careers.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Director, MBA and EMBA Programs, who shared meaningful reflections on personal growth and professional purpose, and expressed gratitude to the invited guests, organizers, and faculty before presenting tokens of appreciation on behalf of the faculty.
The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Partha P. Chowdhury, Chartered Marketer (UK), Director in Charge, BBA Program, and was coordinated by Ms. Bohi Shajahan, Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Finance. Mr. Jubayer Suhan, Assistant Professor, Department of MIS served as the Master of Ceremony for the occasion. Ms. Rodshi, Fazilatun Nesa played the role of volunteer in order to greet the graduating students and guide them to run the event smoothly.
