On November 30, December 8, and December 15, 2021, 42 participants from AIUB attended a day-long training session at Samsung C & T Corporation Safety Academy. Four teachers from the Faculty of Engineering, two Engineers from the Physical Plant & Infrastructure Division, one Lab Demonstrator from Engineering Laboratories, along with 35 alumni & final year students, attended this training.

The training took place at Safety Academy, Ashkona, Choto Bot tala, Female Anser Camp. The training session began at 10:00 AM. At first, a brief presentation was delivered introducing the academy and all the safety trainings. Subsequently, the importance of health and safety was explained, and how safety training can be extremely beneficial for maintaining safety at the workplace was also demonstrated. After that, each group was taken to a different experience room. The training rooms were: Basic and electrical safety, falls and enclosures, and fire safety. Each experience room provided real-life experiences of danger and proper guidance on tackling them. After 3 hours of training, a short lunch break and refreshment break were taken. Finally, the rest of the training resumed from 3:00 PM and ended by 4:00 PM. The training ended with the distribution of certificates among the participants.
