On 27^th of May 2021, Faculty of Engineering organized a webinar titled “Road to Success” which was supported by AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES). Focusing on “CV Engineering” & “Engineering Pathway from Internship to Professionals”, the program began at 6:00 PM. with the participation of around 185 students through an online platform Zoom. Prof. Dr. A.B.M. Siddique Hossain (Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB; Advisor, ACES) commenced the webinar by highlighting that Bangladesh can assemble a skilled workforce if industry executives step forward to collaborate with universities and train the fresh graduates.

Afterwards, Md. Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan (Chief of Staff, ShopUp Consultant, Doctorkoi Smart) started his speech by highlighting the gap between the industrial and academic partnership in Bangladesh. Later, he urged the students to utilize the semester breaks in gaining experience in different commercial organizations. Followed by, he emphasized that one should do research about the company and the responsibilities of the position before facing the interview. Lastly, a short Q&A session was held where the speaker answered to the queries of the participants. Thereafter, Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Head, Department of CoE & Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB; Mentor, ACES) thanked the honorable speaker with a virtual token of appreciation for delivering such an excellent presentation. In his speech, he encouraged the students for internship program that will eventually help them to draw a better professional curve in future. Subsequently, Nova Sarker (Head of HR & Administration, Lepra) began her speech by thanking Faculty of Engineering. She continued by stating the importance of preparing CV with best skills and appropriate information. Besides, she accentuated on the significance of taking preparation for interview with proper rules and regulations. She ended her speech by giving an effective briefing about some constitution of online interview and responded to the queries of the participants in the question-answer session.  Finally, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman (Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB; Advisor, ACES) expressed his gratitude towards both the speaker in his closing remarks.

The webinar was ended at 8:00 PM by thanking everyone for their participation and taking a group snapshot with the presence of  Prof. Dr. A.B.M. Siddique Hossain (Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB, Advisor, ACES ), Prof. Dr. Md.
