On Thursday, January 8, 2026, AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES) organized the “Capstone Project Completion Fall 2025–2026”, supported by Faculty of Engineering, AIUB. The event took place at the Auditorium, D-Building, American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB), marking the culmination of undergraduate capstone projects.

A total of 24 groups participated in the program, from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE). Each group presented their capstone projects for evaluation by their supervisors, external reviewers, and faculty members, showcasing innovation, technical competence, and practical problem-solving skills.

The program was graced by the presence of the following distinguished industry professionals serving as judges: Dr. Adnan Riaz (Senior Development Engineer, Attocube Systems GmbH, Germany), Dr. Jahid Hasan (Staff Engineer, Onsemi, Ireland), Ms. Niger Sultana (Deputy Manager, Gazi Communications), Mr. Syed Siddiqur Rahim (Operations Manager, Enosis Solutions), Mr. Md. Osman Goni (CEO, ElectroSys Engineering), Mr. Hasib Ahmad Ilteza (Senior Assistant Manager, Unique Meghnaghat Power Limited), Mr. Ferdus Wahid (Senior Electromobility Engineer, Volvo Construction Equipment, Sweden), Mr. Reza ul Karim Reza (Power Block Engineer, Summit Power Company Ltd.), and Ms. Fariha Tabassum (Senior Analyst, Aeroness International Ltd.), who reviewed the projects and shared their valuable insights.

Following the successful completion of the project evaluations, the program concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, where awards were presented for Best Project and Best Poster Group. The Token of Appreciation was presented to the esteemed guests by Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam (Vice Chancellor, AIUB), Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman (Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB), and Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan (Professor and Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB). The award and appreciation segment was formally announced by Dr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Professor and Director, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB). The event concluded with a group photograph, commemorating the successful completion of the capstone program.
