On 6th November 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) Research Cell successfully conducted a research presentation session. The session continued to foster an environment of scholarly discussion and strengthened the culture of research within the faculty.
Mr. Jubayer Suhan, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Information Systems (MIS), presented his research on exploring the evolving landscape of digital commerce in Bangladesh. His study focuses on understanding the key factors that drive engagement, adoption, and perceived benefits among users of online platforms. By examining technological, behavioral, and market-related influences, the research aims to provide insights into how digital platforms can create meaningful value for both businesses and the broader public, while highlighting opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth in the digital economy.
The Honorable Dean of FBA, Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, attended the session and offered valuable feedback. He suggested incorporating additional influencing factors and considering potential moderating variables to strengthen the analytical framework. Professor Dr. Md. Faruque Hossain, Member of the Research & Publication Steering Committee, emphasized the importance of clearly defining the population and sample, as well as using appropriate sampling techniques, to ensure the study’s reliability and validity.
Faculty members from various disciplines as well as head of departments also actively participated in the session. They shared their observations, posed thoughtful questions, and offered constructive suggestions to refine the research methodology and analytical approach. Many participants expressed appreciation for the relevance of the study in understanding the evolving digital economy, noting its potential implications for both academic research and practical applications in policy and business contexts.
The session concluded with recognition of the presenter’s efforts and Research Cell’s continued role in promoting meaningful academic dialogue. Through sessions like this, the FBA Research Cell reinforces its commitment to fostering interdisciplinary research, nurturing faculty innovation, and contributing to the development of impactful scholarly work that addresses contemporary challenges.
