ESAB AIUB UNIT FACE successfully organized a webinar titled "Higher Studies in Canada" on February 19th, 2022, using the Google meet platform. The major objective of this webinar was to provide basic information and resources that a person needs to apply for higher studies in Canada.

The main event started at 7 PM with the national anthem of the country. Afterward, the honorable speaker, Fakhruzzaman Arif (MESc, Western University, Canada), started the session by thanking the organizers for arranging the event. He then went through the many issues of higher education in Canada, the whole process, some tips, and tricks, and began to elaborate on those topics. Furthermore, he discussed the application sessions, living costs, tuition fees, and other necessary aspects. He particularly emphasized the IELTS test and the sponsorship section. Most importantly, he shared his experience with the participants and gave them some real-life examples of how to achieve the goal of higher study in Canada. 90 participants including students from different universities and team members of ESAB AIUB UNIT FACE attended the webinar. At the end of the entire webinar, a Q & A session was started, during which the attendees’ asked questions and the speaker responded to their queries.
