On April 11, 2018, Engineering Students Association of Bangladesh (ESAB) AIUB Unit Face organized an interactive seminar titled “Life Talk with Zaved Parvez” at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). The objective of the event was to groom the students for taking better decisions in next stage of life.

The program started with national anthem. Afterwards, a brief promo video of ESAB was demonstrated to the audience. Speaker of the event, Mr. Zaved Parvez (Vice President - Resourcing, Employers Brand and HR Digitalization, Robi Axiata Limited) provided a motivational speech to the students. He talked about success, happiness, turning points and other aspects of life. He said that different people have different ways of seeing the world. He advised to be calm during difficult and complex situations explaining versatile point of views of life. He gave sarcastic yet logical example to support his point. He said that the idea of success varies from person to person. Moreover, he told the students, to ask themselves, about their own definition of success. In addition to that, he shared some anecdotes from his life.

Then, the ending speech was given by Prof. Dr. A.B.M Siddique Hossain (Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB).  He counseled the students about their studies, taking proper life decisions, bonding with family and entering to the next step in life. He also shared some real-life stories to encourage the students towards success and peace.

The speaker, Mr. Zaved Parvez, was given a crest and a souvenir, as a token of appreciation from ESAB AIUB Unit Face. Face members, all organizing & working members of ESAB attended the event.
