Engineering Students' Association of Bangladesh (ESAB) AIUB Unit Face organised an informative career talk entitled as "Career Navigation" at Auditorium of FBA Building, AIUB from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm on 21^st March, 2016. The seminar was based on the future path way for the students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering department where they were introduced to several career sectors of their arena. The seminar started with the national anthem followed by a brief promo video of ESAB enhancing on its activities, mission and vision.

Dr. A.B.M Siddique Hossain (Professor and Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) provided inaugural speech which involved the difficulties students face while deciding their future pathway. Also, he suggested the participants to increase their communication skills and learn how to lead a disciplined life.  At the beginning of the seminar, Md. Arif Raihan Maahi (General Secretary, Engineering Students' Association of Bangladesh) presented his speech emphasizing on the importance of the choice of profession and inspired the participants by sharing his experiences and views. Mr. Rethwan Faiz (Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, AIUB) started the session of the seminar by sharing his experiences in power sectors and nanotechnology. He encouraged everyone to seek knowledge as much as possible and to be focused. Then, Mr. Sadhli Roomy (Manager, Communication & Branding, mPower Social Enterprises Ltd) gave away his speech along with an informative multimedia presentation discussing about the beginning of his career and inspired all the participants to be patient about their choice of profession. Dr. Mir Mohammad Nazmul Arefin (Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) highlighted on the requirements to study abroad and advised everyone to choose their field of higher education very precisely as it will provide them with the opportunities to build up their careers. Later on, Mr. Shah Md Takvir (Service Assurance Engineer, Summit Communications Ltd) started his session by thanking ESAB AIUB Unit Face for organizing such an innovative and useful seminar. Then he spoke about the importance of volunteerism and how it helps to boost up an individual's confidence. Mr. Ilmul Haque Sajib (Head of Gateway Operations, Summit Communications Ltd) shared his valuable experiences throughout his session and suggested the participants to be creative. He also encouraged everyone to set their goals and plan how to achieve it.   Engr. Md. Mainur Hossain (CEO and Chief Photographer, BD Event Management and Wedding Planners) advised all to be passionate in order to accomplish their goals. He even discussed about the early days of his career and how his hobby became his profession. Mr. Imroz Ahmed (HR Executive, ACI Limited) delivered his speech by discussing about talent, vision and creativity. He inspired everyone to believe in themselves and to work hard to make their own way to achieve what they want. Ms. Umme Salsabil (Instructor and Trainer, CEC, CISCO Networking Academy and Lecturer, Department of Computer Science, AIUB) spoke about her journey and discussed about the challenges that was faced to be in the networking program. She also showed some documentary videos on CISCO career certification and motivated everyone to be fearless in order to achieve success. Later on, Mr. Nelson Pujante Udaundo (Animation instructor, faculty of the Department of Media and Mass Communication, AIUB) was a guest speaker who shared his thoughts on the field of animation and also talked about his experiences while working as an animation expert for different movies of Hollywood.

At the end of the session, Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman (Director and Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) provided a speech by enhancing on the significance of appropriate approach, the ability of communicating and choice of career to all the participants. The seminar was graced by the presence of  Mr. Md. Manirul Islam (Assistant Professor and Director, Department of Computer Science, AIUB), Mr. Danilo G. Morgia (Senior Assistant Professor, Director, IT Operations, Department of Computer Science, AIUB), Mr. Nafiz Ahmed Chisty (Assistant Professor & Special Assistant, Department of EEE, AIUB), Mr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Assistant Professor, Department of EEE & Special Assistant, OSA), Mr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain (Assistant Professor, Department of EEE & Special Assistant, OSA, AIUB),   Mr. Tawsif Ibne Alam (Lecturer, Department of EEE, AIUB) and Ms. Tajbia Karim (Lecturer, Department of EEE, AIUB).

At the end of the seminar, souvenirs were handed to the respective speakers in the presence of Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman and Mr. Nafiz Ahmed Chisty as a token of appreciation to their effort to make the event more successful.
