The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) facilitated a faculty mobility session under the Erasmus+ Program. This time AIUB hosted Dr. Monika Belhaj from Vilnius, Lithuania. Dr. Monika Belhaj holds a Ph.D. in Management and Commerce from the University of Tasmania, Australia. Currently, she is working as a faculty member at the Faculty of Human and Social Studies of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU). She is also a project manager under the "Create Lithuania" young professionals’ program for the country’s Investment Promotion Agency.
Dr. Monika visited AIUB from March 12, 2023, to March 16, 2023. FBA organized a seminar on March 13, titled “Knowledge Sharing with FBA” with Dr. Monika at the AIUB campus. In this seminar, Dr. Monika introduced different segments of MRU and the opportunities for further future collaboration between AIUB and MRU. She also shared her experience working at Create Lithuania and explained how her country has taken steps to allure back its expatriates. After the session, a plan was devised to further nurture the mutual sustainability program between AIUB and MRU. The session ended on a good note as Dr. Monika heartily obliged to be a part of FBA research facilities. The event was attended by all the faculty members of FBA.
Dr. Monika had an interactive session with the students of FBA, titled “Storytelling in business: how to build a strong connection with a customer?” at the Multipurpose Hall – Building D on 14 March 2023. She elaborated how storytelling can change the face of marketing. She explained minutely her Ph.D. journey in Australia and the story of transformation of a hotel to retain its historical treasures. This highly interactive seminar was enjoyed and attended by students of FBA, where they ended up connecting with Dr. Monika via LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Several faculty members of FBA graced the event with their kind presence. Dr. Monika Belhaj appreciated her AIUB visit immensely and thanked AIUB for their kind and warm hospitality. Dr. Khondaker Sazzadul Karim and Ms. Nazia Farhana, faculties from FBA, facilitated and arranged the visit of Dr. Monika Belhaj.
