The Department of Management and the Society for HR hosted first ever “Entrepreneur Business Competition” in AIUB, where the students of entrepreneurship development course have participated. This competition provides an opportunity for the students to apply knowledge learned in the classroom to a real life business problem, developing practical management and leadership skills. “Entrepreneur business competition, fall 2012-13” was launched at 12:00 pm on Monday, 26th November, 2012, by the honorable Dean, Dr. Charles C Villanueva. The Honorable Guests Associate Dean, Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Director, MBA Dr. Nisar Ahmed , Mrs. Farheen Hassan (Head of Management Department), Mr. Zakaria Masud (Head of Accounting Department), Mr. Zubair Shibli (Head of Marketing & Operations Management), was present during the inauguration ceremony. The honorable guests visited the stalls and provided suggestions to all young entrepreneurs. They also appreciated the students’ effort in making the event successful. Coordinator of this Competition Md. Mostofa Jaman, Lecturer, Department of Management, along with other faculties and students were also present. The exhibition was only possible because of the impulsive hard work of the students along with the support provided from administration. The kind participation of the distinguished guests was greatly inspiring for all the participants and students.
