On 16th February 2020, Department of English, AIUB, organized an enchantingly glorious Falgun Festival which was held in amphitheater situated in the permanent campus of the university. The essence of true cultural heritage was prevalent in all the performances of songs, dances, recitation and literary parade presented by the participants in the program. The amphitheater was full to the brim with the utmost enthusiastic and interactive audiences incorporating the students of all the departments, teachers and officers of AIUB. The excitement and enjoyment of the audience was noticeably vibrant. The program, celebrated on the occasion of 1st Falgun, a month of Bengali calendar, represented a true flavor of Bengali culture and literature with its beautifully chosen items which were a reason for the attraction of so large number of audiences in a beautiful spring afternoon till the evening. The students as well as the faculty members performed with the fullest motivation and dedication towards the audience. The department of English organized the program after a-month-long rigorous rehearsal sessions conducted by the cultural sub-committee of the department. The overall arrangement of the program was done by the students and teachers of the department of English. AIUB management, and especially, the office of student affairs (OSA) of AIUB came up with whole-hearted support to make the program a grand success.
