The Department of English, American International University-Bangladesh arranged a virtual workshop on research and publication, titled, “Guide to Scopus Publication” for the faculty members of Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FASS) on Thursday, 5 October 2023. The workshop was conducted by renowned Professor, Dr Kamarul Kabilan, from School of Educational Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Professor Kabilan focused on the do's and don'ts of selecting Scopus indexed journals and also provided an insightful session on how to write an effective discussion based on findings from the data analysis. 32 faculty members of FASS attended the virtual session and the event was also streamed live on the departmental page.
