EEE Blues is the Champion of AIUB T20 Mini World Cup Cricket Tournament 2011

On April 18, 2011, EEE Blues (Sri Lanka) beat BBA Red (Pakistan) in the final of AIUB T20 Mini World Cup Cricket Tournament 2011 and became the champion. Bating first BBA Red scored 96 with the loss of all their wickets in 17.3 overs. In reply, EEE Blues reached 101 in just 6 overs without losing any wicket and thus beating BBA Red by 10 wickets. Ashiq of the winning team was declared the man of the match for his 6 wicket haul in expense of 12 runs in his 3.3 overs. Shoeb of EEE Blues was judged the man of the series for his 246 runs and 5 wickets with a hattrick in the tournament. Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor of AIUB distributed prizes among the winners. Along with him, Mr. Lutfar Rahman, Director, PR, Mr. Manzur H Khan, Director, OSA and Mr. Ziarat H Khan, Deputy Director, OSA were also present in the prize distribution.
