On October 4, 2023, the AIUB Economics Club organized a lively and interactive Freshmen Orientation program for the incoming students of the Department of Economics for Fall 2023 - 2024 semester. The event took place at AIUB Media Studio and was designed to extend a warm welcome to the newest members of the Economics Department.

The program was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean of FASS, and Prof. Dr. ABM Rahmatullah, Associate Dean. Dr. Faria Sultana, Head of the Economics department, along with esteemed faculty members from both the Economics Department and other departments, attended the event.

The Freshmen Orientation program culminated with an enjoyable and delightful cultural showcase, featuring performances by students from the Department of Economics.
