Eco Geo Project Exhibition 2011 

The Department of Economics organized day long “Eco Geo Project Exhibition, 2011” on December 8, at the Conference room of Campus 7.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, inaugurated the program and she was very pleased to see the project work of the students. There were 56 projects displayed in the exhibition, covering the topics on various socio-economic issues such as: poverty, women empowerment, environmental changes, cultural and religious festivals, different ways of living, and life/difficulties in the university campuses.

The five best projects were selected by the Judges, and the awards were distributed by the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, during the closing ceremony.

The Dean of FASS, Dr. Tazul Islam, Head of the Department of Economics, Dr. Rahmatullah A. B. Md., and other faculty members of the Department of Economics, English and Social Sciences were present during the inauguration and closing ceremony.
