Department of Computer Science of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized an e-training /webinar on “Using Amazon EC2 Cloud” on 20 March, 2012 at Computer Science Lab (CL8). The speaker, Dr. Ikki Fujiwara, National Institute of Informatics (NII), Japan delivered 3+ hours lectures including different training sessions on Amazon EC2 Cloud environment.
  Honorable Vice President (Academics) of AIUB and Dean in Charge Department of Computer Science Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain launched the webinar. Head of Graduate Program Dr. Md. Shamim Akhter along with other faculty members and graduate students, studying for the degree of MSCS & MTEL, of the Science & Engineering were also present in the event. More than fifty (50) students were successfully trained through this webinar.
