The Department of Management Information Systems (AIUB) organized a talk show titled “E-commerce opportunities for MIS graduates in Bangladesh”. The program was held in the morning of 15 February 2017, with industry leaders from flourishing E-commerce business of Bangladesh. Mr.Razib Ahmed, President, E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh, Ms.Nasima Akter Nisha, M.D. at Reverie Corporation Limited, well reputed Company for mobile application development, Engr.Liakat Ali, Operative Director (E-commerce) & Head, Department of IT, Mr.Zia Ashraf, COO of chaldal.com and Mr.Ashish Chakraborty Chief Operating Officer, SSLWireless, graced the occasion from their respective sectors and shared valuable insights on the topic.

Concluding speech and Vote of thanks was expressed by Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro VC and Dean of Faculty of Business Administration.  Host of the program Mr.Mehzab Nahid, MIS faculties Nazia Farhana, Arnob Zahid,  Danilo G. Morgia, Director IT Operations and all student volunteers were present to share from the information and experiences of the resource persons. It was a very informative session and interactions to enhance and enrich the students prospects for taking MIS as a major in BBA.
