Duke of Edinburgh Residential Project and Adventurous Journey

The Duke of Edinburgh (DEA) Residential Project and Adventurous Journey were held in July 2010 at Cox’s Bazar. 5 students from AIUB (Gold Participants) participated in the residential project which is a requirement for the Gold Level. 6 students from AIUB participated in the Adventurous Journey, which is a requirement for both the Bronze and Silver Level. Of these students 2 are competing for the Silver Level and the rest 4 are competing for the Bronze Level. The students were accompanied and supervised by Mr. Abdur Rob Dewan, Faculty of Business Administration of AIUB. The Silver and Bronze Level participants conducted a health survey on the rural people, while the Gold Level participants taught the rural villagers about providing first-aid services, tree plantation and reserving pure water. All the programs were coordinated and organized by Mr. Abdul Kader Nazmul, DEA Award Leader at AIUB.
