Dr. Rahmatullah A B Md. and Mr. Nasim Ferdous (student of BBA Department – major in HRM) are leaving for Bangkok under the ‘Education Thailand’ Project, initiated by the Royal Thai Embassy to promote in Bangladesh the awareness of educational institutions in Thailand. Dr. Rahmatullah is the only Academic from Bangladesh and Mr. Ferdous is one of the 6 successful students (from over 600 applications all over the country) selected to attend the program. The team consists of 20 (3 from Royal Thai Embassy and 17 Bangladeshi), including H.E. Mr. Chalermpol Thanchitt, The Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan, Additional Secretary – Ministry of Education, Media personnel – from BTV, ATN Bangla, Channel I, Ekusay TV, Boishakhi Television - will participate in the project scheduled to take place during 15-20 February 2009. The participants from AIUB will be able to play an important role in bringing Bangladesh and Thailand even closer with academic ties, which should be mutually beneficial for both the Royal Thai Embassy and AIUB.
