Renowned Expert, Prof. Dr. R P Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, delivered a lecture entitled “Total Quality Management (TQM) for Tertiary Academic Institutions” during the Dr. Anwarul Abedin Lecture Series held on 21stJanuary (MON), 2013 at AIUB Auditorium. The Lecture Series was inaugurated by Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration on behalf of Prof. Dr. Charles Villanueva, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration. The distinguished speaker was introduced by Dr. Mamun Habib, Faculty of the OM Department. Dr. Mohanty’s lecture has stimulated the participants interest on TQM as a strategy for managing higher education institutions. His lecture was followed with lively interactions with the students and faculty. Mr. Maksudur Rahman, Director of AQAC was also present during the occasion. The Vote of Thanks was expressed by A.K. Nazmul, BBA Program Director and Dr. Nisar Ahmed, MBA Program Director, presented the Certificate of Appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mohanty.
After the lecture, Prof. Dr. R.P Mohanty paid a visited to Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, honorable Vice-Chancellor of AIUB at her office. They discussed the possibility of having academic partnership between AIUB and Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University.
