The Department of Finance, Faculty of Business Administration, AIUB arranged an episode under the Dr. Anwarul Abedin Lecture series titled, “The future of Mobile Financial Services in Bangladesh”. Mr. Dewan Nazmul Hasan, CEO, Trust Axiata Pay (TAP) was the keynote speaker. It was held on 14^th December 2022 at the AIUB Auditorium at 2:00 pm. The Dr. Anwarul Abedin lecture series is organized to commemorate the significant contribution the late AIUB founding Chairman made to further the expansion of quality education in Bangladesh. Mr. Nazmul Hasan highlighted the importance of financial inclusion and technological innovation that is changing so rapidly in Bangladesh. He shared a few tips with the students to prepare them for the challenges those innovations and technologies will throw at them in near future for building a successful career. The program was organized by Dr. Mohammed Kamrul Hasan (Associate Professor) under the Department of Finance and was facilitated by Ms. Shahnaz Zarin Haque, Assistant Professor. Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Honorable Treasurer of AIUB delivered the welcome speech. After finishing his presentation Dr. Mohammed Kamrul Hasan, Associate Professor, Department of Finance AIUB handed over a crest and a certificate to the keynote speaker as tokens of appreciation and also delivered the vote of thanks. The program was attended by the faculty members and students of AIUB.
