Four faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering at AIUB recently presented their research papers at international conferences, showcasing the university’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and innovation.

Dr. Md. Ehasanul Haque (Sr. Assistant Professor & Head, IPE Dept.), Dr. Md. Rifat Hazari (Associate Professor & Special Assistant, EEE Dept.), and Dr. Md. Kabiruzzaman (Assistant Professor, EEE Dept.) presented their research at the 2025 10^th International Conference on Business and Industrial Research (ICBIR 2025), held in Bangkok, Thailand. Their respective papers, titled “Enhanced Microhardness of Mild Steel due to Electrodeposition of Copper Controlled by Temperature and pH,” “Performance Analysis of Hybrid Power System with Wind Farms and Conventional Generators Under Fault Conditions,” and “Cooling Load Calculation for Optimized Agro-Product Preservation in Cold Storage Using Historical Weather Data,” explored innovative solutions in the fields of materials science, renewable energy systems, and thermal engineering.

Additionally, Mr. Abu Shufian (Lecturer, EEE Dept.) presented his paper titled “Dynamic and Transformative Hybrid Machine Learning Strategies for Effective Stability Prediction in Smart Energy Networks” at the IEEE 27^th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT 2024), held in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. His work contributes significantly to the application of machine learning in smart energy management, reflecting AIUB’s dedication to interdisciplinary and impactful research.

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering organized a Research Dissemination Seminar to recognize significant research achievements and promote knowledge sharing within the university community. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan (Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) formally inaugurated the seminar and extended a warm welcome to the speakers and participants. During the seminar, the speakers shared key findings, research methodologies, and the potential implications of their work, as outlined in their conference papers along with their experiences at the conferences. The event aimed to inspire fellow researchers, students, and faculty members while fostering academic dialogue and collaboration.

The seminar was well-attended by interested faculty and students, reflecting a strong commitment to scholarly engagement.
