The vibrant sports field of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) came alive with excitement as the grand finale and prize-giving ceremony of the AIUB Inter College Cricket Championship 2026 took place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. The championship, a marquee event organized by the Office of Sports in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs, kicked off on September 14, 2026, bringing together 32 enthusiastic college teams from across Dhaka City. 

In an exhilarating turn of events, Dhaka College clinched the championship title for the first time in the tournament’s history, marking a momentous occasion in the fifth season of this highly anticipated competition. The victory was celebrated with great enthusiasm, highlighting the team's dedication and skill. 

The prize distribution was graced by distinguished guests, including AIUB's Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdur Rahman, and Dr. Ziarat Hossain Khan, Deputy Director of Student Service and Welfare under the Office of Student Affairs. The program was hosted by Mr. Md. Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports, AIUB.

As the sun set on another successful season, the AIUB Inter College Cricket Championship 2026 concluded on a high note, leaving behind lasting memories and building anticipation for an even more vibrant tournament in the coming year.
