Department of Architecture has just finished “Design Dialogue” - its final year thesis jury [8th and 9th January 2012] schedule for the Fall semester 2011-12. It was two memorable days for the department. First batch of the regular students of this department passed out after facing the open public jury. Department Head, Coordinator and other renowned teachers from AIUB as well as other universities and famous professional architects attended the jury and participated as critics. The critics appreciated very highly on the merit of some of the thesis projects and shared their views in jury which resulted in healthy, constructive dialogue between the architects and students. The junior students too had a very valuable learning lesson through participating in the jury sessions. A two day long student work exhibition was also arranged along with this jury program. The whole department turned into a spontaneous & festive mode on this occasion.
The department is grateful to the renowned guests for sharing their valuable time and views in the event and would like to thank the AIUB authority too for the overall support without which it would not have been possible. |
