The Department of Architecture, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) successfully organized the Final Year Jury titled “Design Dialogue” for the Fall 2025–26 semester, held on 28 and 29 January 2026 at the AIUB campus.

The two-day academic event served as a critical platform for discussion, debate, and design defense, where graduating architecture students presented their final projects before a distinguished panel of jurors comprising eminent academicians and practicing professionals from leading institutions in Bangladesh.

The jury sessions were attended by Head of the Department of Architecture, Ar. Arefeen Ibrahim, along with prominent invited jurors who actively engaged in rigorous academic discourse and constructive critique throughout the day. The invited jurors included:

In addition to the invited jurors, faculty members of the Department of Architecture, AIUB were present throughout the sessions, contributing to the academic rigor and supportive learning environment of the jury.

The course was conducted by Senior Associate Professor Ashik Vaskor Mannan, with Bayejid Mahbub Khondker serving as Guest Teacher. Together, they guided the students through an intensive design process that emphasized critical thinking, architectural clarity, and contextual responsiveness.

The “Design Dialogue” Final Year Jury reflected AIUB’s continued commitment to fostering academic excellence, interdisciplinary dialogue, and professional engagement in architectural education. The event concluded with insightful feedback, encouraging graduating students to further refine their architectural vision as they prepare to enter professional practice.
