AIUB took part in the seminar on “The 2007 Aga Khan Award for Architecture”

On 17th November 2008, the “Aga Khan Award for Architecture” arranged a seminar at Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center, Dhaka to present the 2007 winning projects to the professional community and architectural students in Bangladesh and to celebrate the School in Rudrapur, Bangladesh, winner of the 2007 Award. The seminar participants were architects, academics, students and other professionals from different fields from Bangladesh and abroad. The department of architecture participated the seminar with a team consisting of 30 members including teachers and students. The seminar programme was divided into three thematic sessions that brought together the nine projects that received the 2007 Award. Each session began with films, followed by panel discussions of the projects. An exhibition on the 2007 Aga Khan Awards were on display at the seminar venue.
