Department of Management and HRM,  American International University - Bangladesh (AIUB) recently organized HR fest. The theme of the program was “HR Today & Tomorrow”.  To get acquainted with the current trend of Human Resource Management and to align with that, 2 Workshops were arranged by the Department in 2 days for the development of the BBA major students. Around 120 students participated in the Workshops.

Mr. Mehraj Hamid, Head of HR & Administration, Dhaka Ice Cream Industries Ltd. (Polar), conducted a Workshop titled “Competency Development”. He shared his experience and recent development in the HR arena in the corporate world, with the students. The program was followed by Question Answer session by the students to the Resource person.

The 2^nd workshop titled “CV Writing and Corporate Etiquette” was carried out by Mr. R. T. Moudud, Director, Office of Placement & Alumni (OPA), American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) and Mr. K. M. Hasan Ripon, CEO, “Jobsbd.com”, where students got the idea of how to develop the Confidence & Skills to interact in the Work Environment. The workshop also focused at Networking Techniques & Events, Client Functions that enhance the Organization’s Image and develop Professional Behavior & Standards, Actions and Attitude in  today’s work place.
