“Department of Management & HRM organized a Talk-Show on The Challenges in Business Start-up”

On 06th December 2016, the Faculty of Business Administration of American International University-Bangladesh had groomed on a festive look whilst Department of Management & HRM had organized a day long series of programs as a part of institutional and academic enrichment. The day long queue included, Business Plan and Poster Competition, Seminar, Talk show & business fair “The Bazaar Bonanza” and many other activities.

As a part of the talk show arranged for Entrepreneurship Development, Mr. Habibur Rahman Hasan; Owner & Director; Touch of India Restaurant, East Sussex, Brighton, England participated as a resource person. Mr. Habibur Rahman a Bangladeshi British Businessman who had started entrepreneurship at a very early age in London had quite a commendable experience over Business Development. During the talk show he talked about, “The Challenges in Business Start-up”.

In his informative course of conversation he talked about the financing and cash flow management problems of fresh business people and techniques of managing them. He also mentioned about the importance of customer relationship and finally he shared his experiences of resolving the problems he had during business start-ups.

The audience line was decorated with the kind presence of Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva welcoming the distinguished guest in the beginning of the program and also inspiring the students for participating in the business world. At the end of the program Prof. Dr. Nisar Ahmed; Director of MBA Program conveyed the vote of thanks and handed over the souvenir to the guest. The chief organizer of the day long program Ms. Farheen Hassan; Associate Professor and Head, Dept. of Management & HRM handed over the certificate of appreciation duly signed by the Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor. The auditorium was also filled with kind presence of Respected Faculty Members and the Students.

The program was organized and coordinated by, Ms. Samia Shabnaz, Ms. Hafsa Maryam, Ms. Anisa Sultana; Assistant Professors, Mr. Afdalin Bin Haque Lecturer, Department of Management & HRM.
