Department of Economics Launches Victory Day Wall Magazine

Students of BSS in Economics and members of ‘EQUILIBRIUM’, a forum of department of Economics, launched Victory Day Wall Magazine on December 14th, 2011. The wall magazine was inaugurated by the Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Dr. Tazul Islam, in an auspicious occasion in the ground floor of Campus 7. The Head of the Department of Economics, Dr. Rahmatullah A. B. Md., and other faculty members and students of the department were present in the occasion. The launching ceremony was followed by the short cultural program. Dr. Tazul Islam expressed his feelings and conveyed thanks for putting such a nice effort. Dr. Rahmatullah and Dr. Ahmad Neaz also shared their feelings about the occasion. Editor of this wall magazine and mentor of ‘EQUILIBRIUM’, Mr. Shahnawaz Mohammad Rafi explained the rationale of publishing the wall magazine and gave vote of thanks to all directly or indirectly involved into this project. The magazine covered writings from students and faculty members of various departments focusing on glorious Victory Day.
