The Department of Marketing organized a Guest Speaker session on 23rd November 2016 for the students of the Course – Service Marketing. To enhance the Students’ knowledge base, Ms. Tasmiya Munmun, Head of Banking and Strategy Team, Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd. gave a presentation to the students of the class on the Service Marketing & Strategies and Trends in the Telecommunication sector of the country. She provided an insight on the different customer oriented practices in the service industry, particularly in the field of telecommunication and ICT. She also incorporated in her discussion how to deal with a competitive market situation and handle ever increasing customer needs. The presentation was an interesting session that was followed by question answer session by the participating students. Head of the Department, Marketing, Dr. Anisur Rahman Faroque also contributed in the seminar by his valuable presence & ended the session by giving a vote of thanks to the guest speaker for her valuable speech. The guest speaker was presented with a Gift Bag and a Certificate of Appreciation by Dr. Anisur Rahman Faroque. The Students were enthusiastic and inspired to gain knowledge from such resourceful corporate professional. This event was coordinated and organized by Ms. Tahsina Khan, Assistant Professor, course instructor for the subject, Service Marketing.
