On 23 November 2015, a corporate session entitled “Importance of documentation in Accounting Information System (AIS)” has been organized by Mr. Khondoker Ziaur Rahman, Lecturer, Department of Accounting, Faculty of Business Administration, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). The session was conducted in the class room with the target of department is initiative to provide students proper corporate exposure along with relevant theories.

The session was aiming to provide students of AIS practical corporate knowledge of documentation process and importance of documentation while using integrated system. Resource speaker for the session was Mr. Marwan Rashid, who is currently working with nonprofit organization named “Innovations for Poverty Action” as a research analyst, shared his experience about integrated system (Enterprise Resource Planning). He discussed several significant issues ranging from history of ERP system, its progress, how it is different from paper-pen based system and the importance of documentation while using the system. The session was very informative for the students, which ended up with an interesting and interactive question and answer session. At the end of the session, Mr. Khondoker Ziaur Rahman handed over a certificate of appreciation and souvenir to the resource speaker as a mark of respect to his effort.
