Conference in Cooperative Green Growth Modeling Forum (C2GMF) in Greenhouse Gas Inventory & Research, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Dr. Ahmedul Hye Chowdhury, Assistant Professor (Department of Chemistry), American International University- Bangladesh (AIUB) has represented the ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of People’s of Bangladesh as an Environmental expert researcher in the Technical Working Group of Cooperative Green Growth Modeling Forum (C2GMF) in Greenhouse Gas Inventory & Research Center (GIR) Korea, who organized a conference in March 25th to 26th, 2014 in Hanoi, Vietnam. The sectoral themes for the Technical Working Group were Building or Waste sector.
Dr. Chowdhury was participating on waste sector and his presentation paper’s theme was “Developing 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) Strategy for Municipal Solid Waste management for urban areas in Bangladesh:, A Socioeconomic and Climate Change Mitigation Options”.
C2GMF is a unique and creative platform for joint GHG inventory and mitigation research and/or projects in developing countries differentiating its work from other international GHG-related cooperation by supporting bottom-up activities in developing countries to mitigation GHG emissions by sector in practice. Currently, there are 19 countries participating in C2GMF.
