Comprehensive Workshop “Hands on Experience in SPSS”

A Comprehensive Workshop, organized by Dept. of Operations Management (OM) of FBA, entitled “Hands on Experience in SPSS” was held on 24th November (THU) in Language Lab as the part of Faculty/Staff development. Assistant Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib and Senior Lecturer Mr. Khorshed Ahmed Talukder conducted this workshop. This workshop was initiated by the Sample of Survey Questionnaire, data input in terms of Data View and Variable View in SPSS. Consequently, SPSS output was demonstrated through Descriptive Statistics (Frequencies, descriptive), Compare means (Independent Samples t-test, One way ANOVA), Correlate (Bivariate), Regression, Reliability analysis, Non-parametric test, etc. Faculty members of Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Arts and Social Science, Faculty of Engineering, including Head of Department of Operations Management and Department of Marketing, Mr. Zobair Shibli attended the workshop. Dr. Habib and Mr. Talukder were asked questions by attendees, which produce interactive fruitful workshop. After this successful workshop, Dean of FBA, Dr. Charles C. Villanueva suggested to arrange series SPSS workshop in the course of time.
