AIUB Alumni Australia (AAA), the alumni association of the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB), organized a memorable reunion on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Pullman Hotel, Sydney Airport, celebrating the university’s 30th anniversary.

AIUB alumni, faculty members, families, and guests from Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Perth gathered to reconnect, share memories, and celebrate AIUB’s journey.

A key highlight of the event was the presence of Mrs. Nadia Anwar, Founder Member and Chairman, Board of Trustees, AIUB, and Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Member, Board of Trustees and former Vice Chancellor, AIUB. In their inspiring speeches, both dignitaries reflected on AIUB’s remarkable progress over the past three decades and its growing recognition on the international stage. Several alumni, in their speeches, expressed heartfelt gratitude to AIUB for shaping their professional lives and instilling strong values that continue to guide them today.

The gala evening featured opening remarks, cultural performances, dinner, and an awards ceremony honoring all participating alumni. Attendees expressed their joy and pride in reconnecting with old friends, reminiscing about their student days, and building new professional and personal networks.

The event stands as another milestone in strengthening the global AIUB alumni community and celebrating the shared bond that connects AIUB graduates worldwide.
