On October 12, 2025, AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES) organized a “Celebration of Capstone Project Completion” for the Summer 2024-25 semester, supported by the Faculty of Engineering (FE) at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). The event took place at the Auditorium, D-Building, American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB), marking the successful completion of the students’ capstone projects, a major milestone symbolizing months of innovation, teamwork, and applied engineering practice.

A total of twenty-one groups presented their projects before supervisor and external supervisor, showcasing creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical excellence. Following the project defense, students also participated in a poster presentation session where invited industrial judges evaluated each group’s presentation based on innovation, feasibility, and communication. The judges provided constructive feedback and praised the participants for their efforts and professionalism. Distinguished industry experts, including, Ms. Moon Sadia Dipthee (Director, Analog Design, ULKASEMI), Mr. Kazi Hassan Ferdous (General Manager, Head of Media & Digital, Grameenphone Ltd.), Mr. Ashique Ibni Aziz (Senior Manager, PS Core Network, Robi Axiata PLC), Mr. Abu Syed Shakil Ahmed (Director, Accordance Solution & Devartisans), Mr. Md. Shafieur Rahaman (Assistant General Manager, iBMS Technology Bangladesh Ltd.), served as judges for the competition.

After the presentations, outstanding student works were recognized through awards. The Best Project and Best Poster Group were presented by Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam (Vice Chancellor, AIUB), Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman (Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB), Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan (Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Prof. Dr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Director, Faculty of Engineering),  Mr. Nafiz Ahmed Chisty (Associate Professor and Head [EEE], Faculty of Engineering), and Dr. Md. Ehasanul Haque (Associate Professor and Head [IPE], Faculty of Engineering),  highlighting AIUB’s commitment to academic excellence. During the token of appreciation segment, honorable VC presented tokens to the invited judges, with the other faculty members on stage to honor their contributions, and congratulated students’ hard work and encouraged them to uphold integrity, innovation, and lifelong learning as they step into their professional careers. The event ended with a group photograph, capturing the unity and celebration of the Capstone Project Completion.
