The Faculty of Business Administration organized a Career orientation Talk Show for the benefit of its MBA student on 7^th April, 2015. The resource persons for the program were Mr. G. Q. Chowdhury FCA, Managing Director and CEO Transcom Beverages Ltd. and Mr. Akhtar Matin Chaudhury FCA, FCS, Chairman & Managing Director, Nuvista Pharma Limited. The resource persons briefed the students about the different aspects which they need to consider before choosing their major and planning their career. Both highlighted the importance of ethical standards and competence as important factors , which students must uphold when in employment. Aware of these factors like parents, friends, media and others that influence their choice of career, they were advised to have a cognitive knowhow and interest on the programs and specific major so that they can stand on the basic domains of learning. Continue to learn and love the profession you have chosen. Their briefing was followed by a lively question answer session, where the students asked a wide range of questions. The Talk Show was moderated by Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director, Office of Placement & Alumni. The Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva warmly welcomed the resource persons, students and faculty to the program with his brief insights on the importance of a career guidance in the educational development process of the students. Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Director MBA/EMBA program assisted the Dean in presenting Certificates of Appreciation and AIUB souvenir items to the resource persons.
